Exhibition and movie date with my sister
It's Sunday again, boo! Nevertheless, yesterday, I totally had a great time with my sister, Eileen. Ok, for the benefit of those who never read my blog before. She is one of my best friends since secondary 3, I also drew her inside my comic show! Click here to watch. Back to topic, we met up to catch the Mummy: Secret of the Tomb's exhibition at ArtScience Museum @ Marina Bay Sands and also the movie, White House Down.
Early morning, I went to gym as usual. Then, I had lunch with Zhiwei before heading back home to change and meet up with Eileen. Hmm...it was rather a rush and busy Saturday for me, hahas. Anyway, for the exhibition, it cost S$15.00 per entry for foreigners and S$13.00 for locals. Overall, the exhibition displayed many ancient articfacts of Egypt. Well, to be honest, I don't really know what are those artifacts. I only know the Pyramids of Giza...hahas. I mean if you watch most documentary of ancient Egypt, they never fail to showcast these pyramids. Nah...I am more interested to how they build these amazing structures in their time. This exhibition is just ok-ok for me as it only tell the life story of a mummy before he/she is dead.

What to expect in the exhibition...
In fact, I am more to an alien-want-to-know person. Do you seriously think those Pyramids of Giza is build by humans in the olden days? Hahas. I think this is up to you guys to explore around. In conclusion, this exhibition is not bad and worth going if you got the time and money to spare. After the exhibition, Eileen and I headed to Marina Square for movie and dinner. We bought tickets to White House Down, the movie casts for this film includes 2 big stars namely Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx. This is one reason that I wanted to catch this movie.
The movie is an action-packed one with quite number of funny scenes to keep the audience entertained. The pace of the movie was not bad too, in terms of the storyline/plot...it was great too. I would definitely recommend my friends to this film, I shall give you rough summary of the movie. Channing Tatum (John) was a father of one daughter (Emily), they actually went to the White House for a trip where Channing Tatum was going for his job interview. After the not-so-good interview, he was then dragged by his daughter to a tour visit around the White House. During the tour, John saw a group of people in the cinema room acting weirdly and also he met up with Jamie Foxx (President James). From there, the movie moves in a normal pace of fighting scenes and rescuing scenes. Overall, it is a nice and good movie.

Before our movie, we went for dinner at Sushi Express at Citylink Mall. I had a great meal there, all the sushi and desserts only cost S$1.50 per plate which I think it's pretty cheap especially that there are salmons available. Eileen and I spend about 30 to 40 mins there and ate 22 plates of wonderful foods. The bill came up to $33.80 after including service charges and G.S.T which I think it's reasonable. Wrapping up our date, it was a good one. We catch up with one another's life and talked about many things in life such as travels and studies. I sure hope we can go Legoland together during our birthday month. I guess I shall stop my words here then, thanks for reading and be back soon! :)
