2 movies in a week
It was quite a week for me, from work to life. These days, I am busy doing my work and I was thinking of drafting another blog project on men’s beauty in the upcoming months. Well, another thing that I am troubled with is the Singpost issue. It was really a bad one, I can assure you that. I will rant more about it when the case is completely closed. Dots.
Aside from my recent update, I am looking forward to my Tokyo trip in August. I will add more travelogues after I come back from my visit, do stay tuned for them! My week is as usual, was filled with running and gym session. I had a great meal at Dian Xiao Er and a singing session over the weekend too.

Dian Xiao Er @ Jurong Point
Dian Xiao Er (店小二) serves a variety of dishes from soups to meats. Their signature dish is the peking roasted duck. If you ever drop by, do not forget to select this on the menu. This is my second visit to Dian Xiao Er and this time round, I visited the Jurong Point’s outlet with my family. We had a great time there, the ambience was nice and foods were delicious. Our bill came up to S$134 after including the taxes and service charges, it’s quite steep but I think it’s worth it. The foods were of good quality, I must say. Hahas.

I watched the popular Despicable Me 2 and Pacific Rim during the week. Both were nice movies and definitely, I enjoyed myself. I paid $9 each for the movies. I think it’s worth every penny paid, hahas. Despicable Me 2 is a sweet movie filled with many colorful animations and funny scenes such as the singing part of the minions. In this movie, Gru found his love and he is on a mission to save the world too. So, if you wanted to know more, do drop by the cinema to catch this movie.

On the other hand, Pacific Rim is an awesome movie with many cool elements mixed in like those Transformer and Godzilla movies. When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes - a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi) - who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past.
