Smurfs 2 and Sushi Tei with Family
This is a short week for most of us, I believed...since there is a long weekend. On Hari Raya, my mum, sister and I went out for dinner and movie. We watched The Smurfs 2 and dined at Sushi Tei, JEM. We had a great time at Sushi Tei, we ordered few plates of sushi, chawanmushi and also the mains such as Curry Chicken Rice, Spicy Ramen etc;. The bill came up to around S$75, which I think it's qutie steep. Dots, nevertheless, I really enjoyed my dinner. Sushi Tei opened their first west outlet at JEM and I am looking forward to visit them again when I am feeling richer. Please note the peak hours between 1900 HRS to 2000 HRS during weekends, we waited for around 10 to 15 mins to dine in.

Smurfs 2 was a nice movie to watch, however, I still preferred the first movie instead of this sequel. Yet again, the movie featured numerous funny scenes and touching moments which in my opinion, the movie is a suitable movie for people of all ages and a not bad movie choice this August. If you can't get enough of Smurfs, Mcdonalds is currently doing the happy meal on them.

Adidas: King of the Road Singapore 2013 was cancelled this morning due to heavy downpour. It was a sad case for me, as I actually signed up for the race. But no one can predict the weather well enough, no? Hmm...Even though, the race was cancelled, I still did my run when I got back home. I clocked almost 10KM at 51 minutes, it's an amazing result for me! Adidas and HiVelocity will still give out the finisher medals to all participants as a token of participation for the race.

Adidas: King of the Road is one of the biggest races in Singapore, this year's sponsors include 100 Plus and Tiger Blam. Nevertheless, I appreciated the effort that the organisers put in. For now, I hope that they will give a cheaper rate to this year's participants for the next year's race.
