Nuffnang: Skechers Contest

Christmas is round the corner and it's about time to change a new shoes for the happy occasion! There a variety of shoes out there to choose from. But are you having trouble find one that you like? Hmm...how about the recent and new brand called Skechers? This brand is not new in other countries but in Singapore, it's pretty much new which I believed. They got one outlet in Jurong Point and one newer one at JEM.

At first thought, I always assumed that this brand carries sport shoes only. Then, I realised that I was wrong when I visited their website earlier on. They also got shoes for casual wear. From covered shoes to slip on shoes, mens collection to kids collection. There are a variety for everyone of different ages. So, anyway, I went through the website to browse for one nice pair of shoes that goes nicely with what a typical Singapore guy would wear casually on weekends.

The below are some which I found which are quite nice. Of course, get shoes that goes well with your dressing. Colors do play a vital role in your dressing. Hmm, a safer and more versatile color will be black as it actually goes well with most dress code like shirt with jeans and etc;. If you are thinking that black is a boring color, try brown, naval blue or dark grey colors, these are also quite safe choices when come choosing the colors for shoes. Personally, I like either brown or naval blue. I would only get the black color for dress shoes.

Shoes which I found online!

Anyway, my fave pair which I found is the one on the second photo shown above. It goes well with dark blue jeans and light kahki color pants too. Though, it may be quite common around Singapore but don't you agree that dressing well is more important than being someone wearing too striking? Hahas.

Beside their stylish look, I have seen many aunties and uncles whom liked to wear this shoes brand which I assumed that it was because of the comfortability of the shoes. Well, in fact, this is not an assumption. Their shoes were comfortable to wear and the cushioning system in the shoes is really nice.

Putting everything together, the prices of these shoes are ranged around S$120 to S$180. In conclusion, I believed it is quite reasonable as you know, you buy shoes and expected to wear it for at least a year. For that price range, you cut it down in 12 months, you pay aboutS$10 to S$15 per month which is like...hmm, pretty much worth it, no?
