Buzzer Beat (2009)
It's Friday! How's everyone doing? Hmm, I am back earlier from work today and well, catching up with some dramas too. In this post, I will give some synopsis on a recent drama which I just watched. Nevertheless, I am coming out of a compiled list of drama and put them into a featured post for you guys! :)
Buzzer Beat is broadcasted in 2009, but I only get to know it recently on Youtube. Hahas, so I decided to give it a go! Anyway, this drama is only a short-11 episode drama. The casts are great too which include the popular 山下智久 (Tomohisa Yamashita)! Each episode is about 40 - 50 mins long, the pace is pretty much alright too. Buzzer Beat is based on an anime/manga.
It is a romance drama with little much action scene. The story starts with Naoki finishing a basketball season game. Naoki (Yamapi) is a professional basketball player. His dream is to play for its nation in huge events like Olympics and NBA. He has a cheerleading girlfriend, Natsuki (相武紗季 - Aibu Saki) whom eventually he will broke up with in the further episodes. He is a character with a never-gave-up attitude and due to his strong pride in promises he made, it caused him to lose a lot of confidence in life and etc;.
The female lead, Riko (北川景子 - Kitagawa Keiko) eventually fell in love with Naoki. She has the similar character as a dream chaser. In the drama, she helped Naoki a lot in bringing Naoki's confidence out. The couple has this pull-push relationship whereas one felt he/she is pulling down on the other party. The touching part is when Naoki has to let Riko go to let her pursue her dream as a professional violinist. There are also many good support actors and actresses in the show whom made the drama more nicer and attractive.

Overall, I gave 3 stars out of 5 for this one. Although, it's not a high score but I still think this drama is worth watching (especially if you love the anime/manga). Oh well, I have run out of words to describe this drama. I guess I shall stop here then! Go watch it on some random streaming sites now before they take down the drama online. :)
