Siam Paragon

Hi peeps! I am back for another travel post! This time round, I will be introducing Siam Paragon to you guys! Oh well, this shopping paradise is one of the must-visit(s) when coming to Bangkok. Connecting the Paragon mall is Siam Center and Siam Discovery. Siam Paragon, similar to our Orchard road's malls, there are a ton of designer brands and overseas products available here. Siam Paragon also housed affordable retail chain such as H&M and Uniqlo. Siam Center is another mall which offers a range of apparel products too.

Siam Discovery is going on renovation from now till 2016. I am not sure when exactly it will be open to public again. It used to house the popular Madame Tussauds. Apparently, I think it may be still in operation as the website are still accepting online reservations.

There are a number of things to do at the Siam malls. Firstly, go eat at Mr Jones Orphanage, Siam Center. This dessert cafe has been one of the latest attractions in the mall. Gaining its popularity from its teddy bear theme and there are about 15 - 20 dessert choices from pancakes to cakes. You will be spoiled with choices! Price-wise, it's affordable and not too expensive for many of us here.

Another thing to see here is the super-cars stores which are located on the 2nd level of the mall (Paragon). There are Lambo, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce (The company which also manufacture plane's engine) and many others. It's something which you won't find in Singapore's shopping mall. Amazingly, they are able to move the cars into the stores. I wondered how they did that, hahas!

One of my fave things here is the work of Patick Blanc. The fantastic idea of greenify the shopping mall walls and levels was awesome and it makes my trip here a pleasant one. The vertical garden which set in well into the shopping mall is located at the Paragon's Jewel/Atrium. There is a huge fountain here to welcome tourists and visitors too. I think it's hard to miss this and I think it's a good spot to take some photos too!

Pretty shot at the Jewel atrium

At the basement of the mall, you can visit the Ocean World where you are able to view fishes, aquatic creatures and animals! Of course, this is not free but worth your time to visit.
