Asiatique

Evening peeps! How's your day? I am back here for another quick travel post on my recent trip to Asiatique, Bangkok. It has been quite some time since my visit but I hope my insight here will still be useful to your upcoming trip to Bangkok. So coming to Asiatique, you need to take a free ferry service from "Saphan Taksin" ferry terminal. The ferry run every 15 mins (If I am not wrong).

The ferry area, habour!~

Asiatique is a huge marketplace with tons of shopping, foods and snacks. Here, you also can find bars and pubs across the main warehouse area upon alighting from the ferry. The popular ferries wheel is also located here. Asiatique housed a number of stores that sell local apparel brands and local merchandises such as wooden crafts etc;. Prices here are pretty affordable to most of us (Singaporean). The old Asiatique is a warehouse habour that housed cargos for business in Bangkok. Today, it has been bought over by a new owner and re-branded as a popular night district/street.

Try out their fresh seafood and Thai foods here, from the signature Pineapple fried rice to coconut juice. Foods here are pretty delicious and a meal here cost about S$10. Not too shabby with the ambience and nice waterfront scenery. Wrap up your dinner by the pub with a group of good friends. The pubs also offered bar foods and finger snacks to complete your experience here. The prices for drinks in the pubs, I am not sure as I didn't went to any due to the crowd. IMO, the price should range from S$6 to S$10++.

Some other things to see here is the beautiful European-styled street and ornaments around the warehouses. Since it's free, I think it's pretty much worth visiting these places. Okay, I have pretty much finished my short travel post. What do you guys think? Is Asiatique a must-go place when visiting Bangkok?

More selfie!
