Netflix: Marvel Daredevil (2015)
Evening peeps, I am back for another post here. This time round, I shall be sharing or rather recommending you guys this new Marvel Daredevil show on Netflix. The show was 13 episodes long and all of them are available on Netflix since 10 April 2015. The show trail back to Daredevil origin from the comics and how the red suit came about.
The first episode shows the origin of how Daredevil become blind and then how he got his powers to save the people of his city. Apparently, the show also focused on the origin of Kingpin a.k.a Wilson Fisk. We know that Kingpin was actually a villian in the Spiderman universe, then, it crossed over to Daredevil.
Other than the awesome action fighting scenes from the show, we also can look forward to the storyline that may leads to the Marvel Defenders universe. The upcoming Defenders show will consist a group of justice vigilantes that includes Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. However, in the comics, the original Defenders lineup consisted of Doctor Strange, Hulk, Namor the Sub-Mariner, and Silver Surfer. Something we should note, the MCU is going away from the comic lineup but the storyline and characters will be referenced. So, it's something fresh Marvel has produced and something we can look forward to!~
So, wrapping up this post. I think this Daredevil show is a buildup to the MCU. As you noticed that Hell Kitchen's in the show is partially on construction and in its repairing process, we know this is the time frame where the battle of New York just ended (If you have watched the first Avengers movie). I will be expecting more links to the movies ahead in the next season or The Defenders. If you love Marvel, you sure won't be disappointed with this show!
