Truly Malaysia (Genting Highlands)
Note: This is an updated post. I am revamping this post to be better for all readers who are going Malaysia for holidays. :D
Genting Highlands is owned by Resort World, therefore if you have a worldcard, you can use it there. I don't know what's the benefits but most slighty is some loyalty programme that uses points/credits. Anyway, Malaysia is quite similar to Singapore, what food we have here, they got it there too. You won't starve because you can easily grab any foods there which are similar in Singapore. (:
Genting highlands(GH) is one of the famous tourist spot in Malaysia, so you can say if you never been to Genting highlands before, you have not finished touring Malaysia. Genting highlands is built on top of a mountain, so the temperature at the highland is slightly cooling as compared to any normal Malaysia's cities.
GH is a resort full of entertainment facilities/amenities from cinemas, casinos, arcade, restuarants, cafes, retail shops, indoor themed park to outdoor themed park also there are few hotels too for all accommodation needs. If you are thinking of having a short getaway, you might to consider taking up a package from your local tour agency. From as low as SGD$90, you can get a trip to genting.
Well, i went free and easy as i also went KL and Malacca later on. I stayed at theme park hotel and took a coach from Singapore. For this trip, i went with my cousin, Silvia. We stayed at Genting for 2 nights. We tried the cockscrew rollercoaster at the outdoor themed park which is one of the most exciting ride of the theme park.
It's not as scary as compared to our USS's human/cylon ride but still, quite exciting.
Expect crowds on weekends and school holidays, i went on weekday so the theme park is not so packed.
There are game stalls around too, but beware...they scams! Hahas.

We only went to the outdoor theme park because the indoor rides aren't so pleasing as it looks. FYI, indoor theme park is more to children and family rides. However, we did tour around the indoor mall and we went to the arcade instead. Hahas. Well, you need to get a Ezicash card (alike to our arcade here) in order to play the machines and stuffs.
I went crazy for Baskin Robbins's ice cream because it so much cheaper at Malaysia as compared to Singapore. I had it 2 times during this trip, one at Genting and another one at KL. Hahas.
Other than ice cream, we also had Starbucks there (Also so much cheaper than Singapore).
There are so much stuffs here but you can finish walking the mall within a day. Dots. My cousin and I went around the mall like numerous times, seeing the same things over and over again. But, one thing for sure...It's really very cooling. :D
Some other stuffs that you might want to consider when coming GH. Sky diving simulation (I not sure about the cost), go-kart (outdoor theme park) and archery (I not sure about the cost either).
