Tokyo Disneyland

Evening peeps! It's Sunday and I am back for another weekly update. In this post, I will be sharing my visit to Disneyland last summer! As promised, I will be putting up as many travel posts as possible these 2 months so you guys can prepare for your summer trip in Japan.

Firstly, although the name suggest "Tokyo" Disneyland, do you guys know that the theme park is actually located in Chiba, Japan (Another prefecture in Japan)? This is also why you need to take pretty much an hour from downtown Tokyo to reach Tokyo Disneyland. (だいたい一時間ぐらいかかる。) The entrance ticket is priced at ¥7,400 for adult and ¥4,800 for children. To get to the theme park, alight at JR Maihama station and transfer to the resort line.

The park consist of 7 areas namely, World Bazaar, Tomorrowland, Toontown, Fantasyland, Critter Country, Westernland and Adventureland. Each area has its own specialty and some of them even consist of food courts and restaurants that matches the area theme. Rubbish bins are located nearby restrooms, like Disneysea, Disneyland also sell popcorn too. So remember to get one when you are there!

A must-try chicken drumstick!

The most exciting ride in Disneyland would be the "Space Mountain" located in Tomorrowland. Waiting/queuing time may take about 45 minutes or so, prepared to be waiting if you don't have the fastpass. Other than that, I also visited the Stitch talk show here. The show is in Japanese, so if you can understand a bit, I guess it would be fine since their Japanese is not very difficult to understand. Lastly, I also went for the "Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlasters" which is definitely a must-go when you are here.

The next exciting ride in Disneyland is none other than the "Big Thunder Mountain" located in Westernland. As usual, because it is so popular, be prepared to wait for a while. Nearby the Westernland is the Advertureland where I took the ride on "Western River Railroad". Food wise, I settled for lunch at "Plazma Rays Diner" and dinner at "Hungry Bear Restaurant". Both of the meals are around S$15.00 which are affordable.
