Japan and Korean's Music
Sorrie about the previous post, hence it's abit too lengthy. I hope readers don't mind. Hahas. Come on! Let's continue from the previous post. Hmm...Talking about music bah. Hahas, i had read Broy comments on my tag board, hees. Sorrie lah, forgot to mention your fave artist, Ayumi. Now, i will make up to the last edition. Hahas.
Hmm...Ayumi Hamasaki, a Japanese singer aka also the queen of J-pop. She had successfully trumps asia J-pop industry too. Ayumi's song was also used in the famous anime, Inuyasha which the whole global nation is watching right now. She is borned on October 2, 1978( Currently: age 29). For more information on her latest album, you can go on to this website, http://avexnet.or.jp/ayu/index.html.
Ayumi Hamasaki is one of the most popular and influential Japanese pop singers, and has been dubbed “The Empress of JPop”. She was born and raised in Fukuoka and moved to Tokyo to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Since her debut in 1998 with her first single poker face, she has sold more than 45 million records in Japan alone, with the releases of her eight full-length studio albums, one mini-album, four compilation albums, 42 singles, and several non-studio albums, being the top selling solo and female artist and the fourth top selling Japanese artist in history. Below are some of her production photos and some advertisement she took up.
Hmm...After J-Pop, of course is K-Pop ar! Lols. There are quite some Korean artistes that went to Japan to develop and become Japanese celebrities. Examples like Boa and TVQX, they both sings Japanese and Korean songs. Shinhwa, a popular Korean's boyband had been around since Taiwan's 5566 was borned. Shinhwa is been around since 1998 till now, which had been quite long! Shinhwa is made up of 6 members. Consisting of Eric Mun, Lee Min Woo, Kim Dong Wan, Shin Hye Sung, Jun Jin and Andy Lee. Hmm...each of them play different roles in the band.
Shinhwa was notable for being the longest-running boy-band in South Korea, the group has released eight studio albums, one Greatest hits album, and three compilation albums. Initially formed under SM Entertainment, they signed a new contract with a new record label, Good Entertainment in July 2003. Shinhwa is also well-known outside the Korean border. While known best in Asia, they have also performed in different countries of the world, including the United States, Australia, China, Taiwan, North Korea, Singapore, and Japan.
In 2006, Shinhwa was chosen as best Korean singer overseas, according to a poll held by Arirang International Broadcasting. A vote was issued on the internet, allowing only foreigners to vote. Shinhwa's song "Once In A Lifetime" won 60% of the vote, beating Kang Ta, who came in second with 20.3 percent followed by TVXQ with 17.3 percent. Super Junior took fourth place followed by Bada, Se7en, BoA, SG Wannabe, Buzz, and Baek Ji-young, with all of them winning less than 1 percent of the votes. Below are some photos of Shinhwa, in case you don't know who are them.
Unlike Shinhwa and Ayumi who is on the music industry for long, some other artistes like Bi Rain and Utada Hikaru, these singers just become shiny with just one feature. For Rain, he become simply popular through his charm and his dancing skills. His single, 'It's raining' hitted the US and the asian countries with a swept! For Utada, her voice is just too smoothing and her first hit single, 'First love' also break the record and sold as the top earning single in Japan. As usual, when this song is played around the asian countries, Utada just become famous!
So whether is it Japan or Korea, celebrities got quite different style of becoming popular. Ayumi Hamasaki or Rain and other singers, they did great effort and hardship to get to what they are now. Hmm...I think you cannot be famous or popular if you don't try hard. That's all for this time round bah. I will continue on if i got more to write on. Hahas.
