Summer in Singapore

Summer is here, what are you going to do this summer? Still thinking and tired of planning? Read this post and I’m sure, it will give you more ideas and insights of the activities/things you can do during summer.

Summer is full of sunny activities, beach parties, drinking the finest cocktails and so much more. Perhaps, summer is also the best time for babes and hunks to show off their beautiful body figure to the others. Anyway, let’s carry on the post, firstly, I want to introduce you to “WaveHouse”. It’s a surfing club located at Siloso beach at Sentosa.

Ever since “Café de mar” closed down, WaveHouse had been the main spotlight club at Siloso beach. It’s one of the famous spot when you come to Sentosa. At WaveHouse, they have man-made wave simulation for surfer lover, benches all around for suntan lovers and also foods and drinks that you cannot miss. FYI, the man-made wave simulation machine provide flowboarding which is quite different from surfing.

Do remember to bring along your tanning kit if you are coming down. The sun will be really hot. For me, I would bring along my sunblock and sunglass. For guys, berms and a light shirt or tee would be the best outfit of the day. Ladies, you all should know fashion better than me, I guess. (:

After a suntan session, I would go for a good food session at Vivocity. There are so many nice foods around Singapore. But that’s not the point, during summer, dessert is one of the course that you cannot miss. And your best bet could be scoops of ice cream or at a cheaper budget, ice kachang can be a good hit too.

If you think beach is not your type of tea, you can go try your nearby swimming pool. Now, many swimming complexes are filled with slides and lazy-river facilities. They aren’t too bad either, also you can find benches around for suntan. It could be your next cheaper alternative.

Other than these outdoor activities, there are other good things which you can do during summer. Singapore is a shopping paradise to many, when come to summer season, do drop by your nearby malls for summer sales. And it’s the best time to shop for bikinis and beach wears.

There are many nice summer movies that you might not want to miss. Do watch out for the movie trailers when you visit any cinemas these days! (:
