Nuffnang: Frankenweenie Contest

It’s another movie contest organized by Nuffnang again. Truth that, I had been receiving many interesting contests/meet-ups to RSVP to, however, I am always lazy and thinking that there were so many Nuffnang-ers out there, will I even get a chance to win? Hmm, anyway, I shall try my luck to win starting from today. Now, to the main topic of the post, “What lengths will you go to keep your favourite pet by your side forever?”.

Frankenweenie 2012.

Well, that’s a good question as it actually fits the storyline of the movie. Anyway, I do not own any pets before but if I do, I will love them like loving my loved ones. Pets are not some toys or you can use it and dispose it whenever you like. They are living things with a beating heart like us, do you like being tossed away once you have no more values? No, right? Same logic applied to pets. If you love your pets, you shouldn’t think of throwing or abandon them some day.

Like adopting a child, once you bought a pet from the pet store, you should keep in mind the responsibilities you have on them. Give them love and care for them, bring them to doctor when they are sick. After many years of breeding them, in your heart, definitely, they played a portion of your life. Other than that, you might even gain something valuable such as ‘friendship with your pet’ in life. In relate to the movie, the main cast actually revived his dog to keep him by his side. In my opinion, that’s probably impossible in reality but what I know is that my pet would stay in my heart forever even if it passed away. I know he/she would bring all his/her memories with me to a better world up there too.

Ok, anyway, on the side note, if you revived your dog and it can live for eternality, will he/she be happy? I think probably not, right? Can you imagine that you are a vampire that lives some thousands of year and slowly seeing all your loved one go? That feeling is really hurtful. Back to the question, I would not go great lengths to keep my pet on my side just for my pleasure; rather, I would keep all the best memories of him/her with me in physical form like photos and videos. I believed that he/she will agreed with it too, this is life in reality. Be realistic at times is better than thinking something that’s impossible.

For a movie, yup, you can be anything you want but remember at the end of the story, love is not about just yourself but your other partner too. Love them is to giving them the best happiness you can. Anyway, this FRANKENWEENIE movie is another great film by Tim Burton, I did watched some of his other films which are really impressive. It’s dark but more of it was related to love. So if you like animation and love story, this upcoming film will probably not disappoint you.
