Jay Chou Concert 2013

周杰伦 摩天倫世界巡回演唱会 2013

Taiwan biggest pop star, Jay Chou (周杰伦) came to Singapore this week for his concert tour. It was one of the few big events in June, putting off the coldness at Singapore Indoor Stadium this month. Also later next week, Mayday (五月天) will also be rocking at the Singapore Indoor Stadium for their concert tour too. Nevertheless, Jay Chou made a great impact on the Taiwanese music scene for 12 years now, in this concert, he sang a lot of songs and most of them are really memorable to us.

I grew up listening to his songs, from secondary school till now...and I'm still listening. Lols. I am not those superb hardcore fan but still, I am very supportive of his music, movies and stuffs. His music are very original and the movies that he have directed are also very inspiring and nice too. This coming July, his second self-directed movie, The Rooftop will be released into theatres near you. Do remember to drop by to support! :)

Jay Chou (周杰伦) is not young anymore and I doubt he will be singing much in his 40s or 50s. Most slightly, he would become the next Andy Lau? More to acting liao...hahas. I love his signature quote, "哎呦, 不錯哦。". It is just so his character. I got a ton of friends who love him too. Guess what? They always go K box and put his songs onto the singing list. It's like our mini Jay Chou concert there.

The duo that attended the concert! Lols.

Anyway, I went to his concert on Thursday (6th June 2013). It was full house, the fans were very high and the mood there was really nice. From his high songs such as "龙拳" and "双截棍" to more smoothing songs such as "晴天". We were totally enjoying ourselves during the show. The concert ended with "七里香" that night, I believed for the 3 nights, there would be different ending songs (Which Jay Chou said himself during the show). I spend about 30 mins to an hour to book the tickets online and luckily, I was at least able to get the seats I wanted. Hmm...I spend S$111 for the ticket (inclusive of taxes and booking fee), I think it's worth it since I really like Jay Chou's songs and his movies.

Oh, by the way, girls...the concert is also packed with handsome guys and hunks. Do watch out for those six-pack guys! Hahas.

The excited me...waiting for the concert to start.

Starting off!

The ending song, "七里香".

Before the concert, Eydie and I went for dinner at Kallang Leisure Park. We then depart from there to the stadium seeing people queuing up to buy souvenirs and light sticks for the concert. Man, I think almost everyone bought something to wrap up their night. However, we both did not get anything from the booth. The merchandises were not cheap...well, but if you are hardcore fan, I think you will buy lah. Hahas...I see people bringing in big bag of goodies into the concert hall.

Here comes the nightmare of that night, after the concert, crowd of people was queuing up at Stadium MRT station to get onto trains. It was quite a spectacular sight, not just the train station was bombed with crowd of people, the toilets were also going on full-house status. Madness, right? That's just show that there are a lot people who also like Jay Chou!

Ok, time to wrap up this post. In conclusion, the show was nice and worth every penny I have spend. Not just that, I totally enjoyed myself during the show. I sang along with Jay Chou and stuffs (Self-high)...Lols, but then, that's what you would do when you attend a concert, no? Ok lah...I shall stop my words now, do drop by my blog soon again!

明明就

PS: See you in 2016, Jay Chou!
