Nuffnang: Thor - The Dark World Contest

Yeah! It's another Marvel movie! This time round, it will be hitting the cinemas island-wide on 31 October 2013. The movie is the sequel to the Thor movie, titled as "Thor : The Dark World". This movie is a step-up built towards Marvel's 3rd phase of their movie universe. Well, if you are not a Marvel fan, it's time to become one as there are really many awesome superheroes created by Marvel such as the classic X-Men, Spiderman and of course, my fave Iron Man!

However, I am really interested to see Spiderman and Wolverine joining the avengers as they was actually featured in the comics. Nevertheless, I am still very happy to see Marvel making an effort to showcase their superheroes till today. Children born these days are also exposed to what older generation kids are fancied about. Something really nice to see is that these modern kids are also liking these superheroes. In this upcoming movie, Thor is faced with new challenges and this time round, his enemy is Malekith (Ruler of the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim). Malekith has an army and he has a mission to plunge the worlds into darkness. With his strong powers, Thor will have to partner with his brother Loki to defeat him. So, do expect to see many fighting scenes and awesome battle effects between both parties.


Putting that aside, what I am excited to see in this coming movie is probably the post-credit scenes which might featured Guardian of the Galaxy (The upcoming movie). Of course, I also like to see the cool movie effects and actions-packed scenes in the movie. Thor is a lighting god and he uses a hammer named, "Mjölnir". This hammer is Thor's signature weapon and it have this power of generating thunders. As this is a signature weapon for Thor, it is almost exclusive to him. Thor can summon it like a north-pole magnet attracting to a south-pole magnet. If this hammer is made exclusively to me, hahas....it would awesome. Well, there are pros and cons, this hammer will take up space in my room...bummer. But it can help me summon thunders and storms when I don't feel like going to work (Don't learn this, bad!). Give me a day of having this hammer, I would probably help those SMRT or building contractor to finish their project faster like generating instant charge of electricity. This might help see our Downtown Line coming up sooner...hahas.


Anyway, the movie is definitely a worth waiting one and I believed that most Marvel fans would agreed. Even if you are not, you will probably catch this movie since there are not many selection of movies these upcoming few months. Just take note that this movie is coming out on 31st October 2013 (I have mentioned earlier - Top Para).
