The Last Weekend of 2013
Peeps, I am back for another weekly post! This week was a really relaxing week. I met up with my NS buddies on Thursday and we had dinner at Watami, ION. We waited for quite a long time for our turn to dine in. Besides, their front desk staff is not around at most of the time! However, we had a great time there and the waitresses were friendly and polite.
Watami is a Japanese casual restaurant and they offered quite a variety of Japanese dishes. We ordered a number of dishes such as the common Katsu Chicken Don (カツ丼), skinny pizza (スキニーピザ) and the ever popular Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き). The foods were tasty and delicious. As for the price range, it is about $15 to $25 per person which I think it's pretty affordable. FYI, this is my second time dining at Watami.

After our dinner, we went out of the mall and took a walk down the street of Orchard road. The Christmas lighting were beautiful and shiny, the group took a photo with the big christmas tree located at ION to wrap up the evening.

Last evening, I met up with Wendy and Wenya for dinner. It was a nice met up and the usual, we chatted and talk about studies, work and stuffs. We had dinner at Eighteen Chefs, Orchard Cineleisure. The restaurant was crowded with people during the dinner timing. Well, that's the usual case, no? I enjoyed my dinner and the company of my friends.
Eighteen Chefs serves a range of western dishes such as Fish and Chips and Baked Pasta. To complete your meal, the restaurant offered 3 combo options (which include drink, soup or ice cream) to wrap up your dinning experience. The restaurant also have the "Be You Own Chef" special menu where you can choose your base, sauce and ingredients for your main course. As for the price range, it's not too expensive as it ranges from S$12 to S$20. And if you are a student, you get to enjoy $2 off the main courses they served. Anyway...After dinner, we went down the street of Orchard road and took some photos.
