It's Wednesday and by the time this post is released, Raven and I are already on our way to Taiwan for my annual visit. And so, for this week, I am sorry that I cannot post any weekly update on the weekends. Thus, I hope this scheduled post will make up for it. Alright! In this post, I wanted to blog and recommend you peeps one awesome Taiwanese idol drama of the year!
Chocolat (流氓蛋糕店) is one of the idol drama of the month which I loved and the casting was great too. Among them, Blue (藍正龍) and Masami Nagasawa (長澤雅美) were the main casts followed by many great actors like Peggy Tseng (曾珮瑜), Frankie Huang (黃鐙輝), Jimmy Hung (洪天祥) (PS: He is the ex-member of Tension) and guest appearance of Lu Kung-wei (九孔) and many others.
Blue (藍正龍)
The story plot is based on a Japanese manga and I think it's a pretty nice storyline. Till date, 7 episodes have been broadcasted in Taiwan. I have no idea how many episodes will there be, but I hope for more actions and love story every week, hahas. Blue (藍正龍) played the main hero of the show who is also a love nerd. He knows nothing about books and have minimum knowledge on anything related to studies due to playing around during his school days partially due to that he is not interested in studies at all. He is an orphan and was brought up by a triad boss.
Masami Nagasawa (長澤雅美)
Masami Nagasawa (長澤雅美) played a girl who was abandoned by her dad recently. After the case broke out, she went to Taiwan to find her mum ex-boyfriend who happened to be Blue's triad boss. Her mum stayed with the triad boss for years before she passed away. Masami Nagasawa was very upset with why her mum abandoned her and went with the triad boss. Thus, to find out why is this triad boss worth the price of breaking up her family, Masami Nagasawa went to Taiwan to reason with the triad boss. Eventually, as the story progresses, she falls in love with Blue and has much less hatred against the triad boss. And the story goes on...
Peggy Tseng (曾珮瑜)
Peggy Tseng (曾珮瑜) played the ex-girlfriend of Blue. She befriended Blue since young and eventually, they got closer and became lovers. However, due to that fateful day when Blue have decided to gave up the choice of being with her and join the revenge fight for his boss, the two broke up. Ever since that day, she has not seen Blue for years till recently when Masami Nagasawa (長澤雅美) started classes at the music school where she (Peggy Tseng) was teaching. The story continues on...
Well, I think all these may bore you off eventually and so, I searched on youtube of the video featuring the show preview before it broadcasted on TV. I hope this video may make you much more interested to watch the show. Well, I definitely recommend this show as there are not many shows which a Japanese actress would collaborate a production with Taiwanese TV stations.
