Tulip Mania 2014
Morning peeps! It's Sunday again. I am back here for another weekly post. This week has been a normal week as usual but due to the Good Friday, this week was a short week. I did all my routine exercises and runs, it was fairly smooth at my work too. I am looking forward to my next meetup with my workplace friends next week! Wees!! We will be singing K and eating nice and tasty foods! I shall take many nice photos if possible! :D
Yesterday, I dropped by Gardens by the Bay for the Tulip Mania 2014. I met up with my ex-colleagues from Fairprice and we had a good time that afternoon. Although, I really sweated a lot, I still enjoyed chatting and catching up with them. It's a pity that Jason was not able to make it this time round. By the way, the queue to get our entry tickets to the exhibition was really long. However, the service counters were fast and efficient and thus, it cut down a lot of waiting time. Remember to flash your Passion Card to get another 10% off your entry ticket!
The exhibition was held inside the Flower Dome of the park. There were a lot of pretty flowers around the dome too. This is my first time visiting the flower dome too. So, I took a lot of photos which I will feature them in my next Under My Lens photo collage. Do watch out for them, yea? We spent about an hour and a half inside the dome. The dome is air-conditioned as to create a similar environment for the plants to stay and live in. It was really a nice visit and overall, I would recommend it to all my photographer friends. Thumbs up!

Time: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Location: Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay (Besides Marina Bay Sands Hotel)
After taking a lot of photos, we took the MRT down to Orchard for our dinner. Before that, we went Daiso and Kinokuniya to see some stuffs. As usual, I bought some amount of stuffs from Daiso. Then, we walked to Cairnhill for our dinner at Eno-Oka. We have been talking about it since last year and finally, we dined there last evening. It was really a nice place with good and fresh Japanese foods! Awesomeness!!
We ordered a hotpot (Shabu Shabu), smoked duck (sliced portion), chicken karaage (から揚げ) and chawanmushi (茶碗蒸し) too. There are a lot of tourists dining there too. The restaurant is also reviewed by several local bloggers too. We spent about S$72 there, I hope to back soon! The waitresses were really friendly people too! Yea, that is probably one of the reasons why there were many tourists including Japanese who dined there too. We wrapped our day at Starbucks, 313...In conclusion, the whole Saturday was well utilised!
Happy me with the hotpot! Hahas!
