The Heirs (2013)
Evening peeps! It's Wednesday, counting down 2 more days to the weekend. Anyway, I'm back here to blog about a recent Korean drama which I have watched. It's "The Heirs (상속자들)", the drama is 20 episodes long and each episode is approx. 45 minutes long. This drama is one of the nicest dramas which I have watched this year. Cutting short my ranting, I shall briefly give a synopsis of the show.
Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) is the second son of Jeguk group, he met Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) in America while he was studying there. Cha Eun Sang was looking for her sister when she met Kim Tan, that was when Kim Tan started liking Cha Eun Sang. Both of them were then confronted by some street gangsters at Kim Tan's home estate. The love story begins from there then. Other than chasing love, Kim Tan faced many challenges in his life as the second son of the rich corporation. He was pretty much lonely without support from his dad and brother. However, through perseverance, he managed to reach his dad and brother inner heart.
There are many touching love scenes in the show. The show also revolves around Kim Tan's friends, Choi Young Do (Kim Woo Bin), Yoon Chan Yong (Kang Min Hyuk), Yoo Rachel (Kim Ji Won), Lee Bo Na (Krystal Jung) and Lee Hyo Shin (Kang Ha Neul). The show hits TV in 2013 and won several awards such as Top Excellence Actor for Mid-Length Drama (Lee Min Ho) and Excellence Actress for Mid-Length Drama (Park Shin Hye). I hope that gives you more reasons to watch this awesome drama? Hahas.
In conclusion, I totally enjoyed the drama and I will definitely be watching out if there is a season 2 for this drama. Alright, I am finished with this short post. I hope you have enjoyed reading it and be sure to drop by soon for more interesting reads! Ciaos.
