Ma Maison with Raven
Afternoon peeps! It's Sunday again, I am back for another weekly post as I have promised previously. This week has been a rather short week as we started the week on a Tuesday. As usual, I did my runs and gym sessions earlier too. Studies and work were going pretty smooth too. Yup and it was a busy week.
Ma Maison @ Bugis Junction
Yesterday, I met up with Raven to celebrate her birthday at Ma Maison (マ．メゾン). We had a simple dinner and then dessert at TCC later on. I told her about my busy schedule for October and November too. Oh well, I am afraid that I cannot organize another outing in November. Anyway, we had a great evening. She also recommended me to watch the latest hip cartoon, Adventure Time. Apparently, the way she spoke about it makes me pretty interested too. As we are old, we did not really stay-out late thus, after our dessert and walking around a bit...We went back home to rest. Nevertheless, Happy Birthday to my best and long time buddy, Raven! お誕生日おめでとう！ :)
At Ma Maison, we each ordered a main course. I am thinking of getting the fruit tart too since they looks really tasty but the thought of having dessert at other places kept me from doing so. Hmm, I will definitely try them out on my next visit! I had the Beef Stroganoff and Raven had the Neapolitan Spaghetti. I also tried their apple juice too. Erm...that don't really surprise me though. Btw, the foods tasted really very nice. As the sayings goes "一分錢一分貨". The price tags here are reasonable and I think it's not too steep. Price ranges from S$16.00 to S$28.00++ for their main courses. My total bill come up to S$44++.
Their services were really good too however due to peak hours, our foods were served pretty late. We waited for about 10-15 mins for our foods to arrive. You are also given free flow of ice water and magazines are free to browse while you dines. In conclusion, looking for good meal and nice ambience? Ma Maison is one restaurant for consideration. Yummy!~

After our fulfilling dinner at Ma Maison, we then walked around the mall before heading to TCC (The Connoisseur Concerto) for dessert. We visited the store beside Starhub and we were seated just in front of Starhub's cable TV. So we were like...watching TV while having our coffee and cake? Hahas. We each ordered a drink, I also ordered the Matcha Azuki flavoured cake. We spent almost an hour at TCC before heading back home. Is it our lucky day or something? The staffs whom served us were all really good and friendly. We spent about S$24++ here. Anyway, looking for a nice place to watch TV and have good meal? This outlet is one nice place to visit.
