Minami Kun no Koibito: My Little Lover (2015)
Evening peeps! It's Friday! I am back here for another quick post. Recently, I just finished watching a pretty new J drama. The name of the drama is "Minami Kun no Koibito: My Little Lover". This drama is adapted from the manga of the same name. The manga was written by Shungicu Uchida (内田春菊). The 2 main leads are Shunichi Minami and Chiyomi Horikiri.
Minami and Chiyomi are best friends since their childhood times. Both of them grew up together and lived beside one another. One day, Minami's dad left home for a new lady. He eventually divorced his wife and remarried at the end of the series. Since the day where Minami's dad left, he cut off most communication with Chiyomi. From there on, Chiyomi also wondered why did Minami stop talking with her. She was in love with Minami ever since.
One evening, Chiyomi and Minami had a huge quarrel. It was raining heavily, Chiyomi was upset and ran off. She kept on running till she come across a cave and then she realised that this is the cave where she and Minami went to when they were little. She made a wish that she could go back in time to where she and Minami were still little and were good friends. The next morning, she became "small". From that day on, the adventure started. Minami went looking for Chiyomi eventually and took care of her for around 1 month or so. Over this one month, many things happened. You guys should go watch the show!~
This is the third version of the show. I had not watch the last 2 versions but I believed it would be pretty much similar? This 2015 version involved new star like Taishi Nakagawa (中川大志) whom also played in the new Prison School (プリズンススクール) drama too. The female lead Maika Yamamoto (山本舞香) was an advertisement model, her acting was not as good as Taishi's but still acceptable.
Overall, I really like the concept of the story and the drama is pretty good. I think it's one of the good dramas in 2015. I have come to the end of this short post. I hope you like this post too?
