Yutoku Inari Shrine

Afternoon peeps! It's Sunday again, I am back for another weekly update. In today post, I will be sharing my visit to Yutoku Inari Shrine (祐徳稲荷神社). This shrine is located in the Hizen-Kashima region, Saga prefecture and it's about an hour or so from Fukuoka city.

Bus tickets to-and-from Hizen Kashima station

It's a weekday during my visit thus, the attraction was really quiet and felt empty. The shrine is one of the top 3 inari shrines in Japan and definitely worth visiting even on a quiet day. I took ton of photos too as the scenery was too irresistible. Hahas. Like many other shrines, you can find the usual amenities such as restrooms, vending machines and so forth. I recommend staying here for about an hour to take in the views and to rest a while.

There are these gates as you climb up the hill at the back of the shrine which happened to be a nice OOTD spot. Hahas. The view at the top of the hill was good too. Oh, btw, for most shrines in Japan, you are free to visit them meaning, no entry fees. However, while taking note of this, please kindly be quiet and behave properly when you are there.

Nice shot?

I left the attraction after an hour stop-by before heading back Fukuoka for dinner. To get here, you can take a train from Hakata station and alight at Hizen-Kashima station. Walk a short distance to the bus station and then, take a bus to the Yutoku shrine from the station. While doing all these, please kindly take note of the timing else, you might miss the bus back.
