Coco Ichiban
Evening peeps, it's the weekend again. In today post, I will be sharing about my visit to "Coco Ichiban" curry restaurant. Coco Ichiban (ココ壱番屋) is actually a quite notable curry rice chain restaurants in Japan. It originated from Aichi prefecture, where Nagoya is located. Since its inception in Singapore years ago, it have become more established and so I am thinking to review them in my blog today. There are many Japanese restaurants entering the Singapore these days and I hope to only cover those whom are much established and potential to stay around long. Without further introduction, let's start talking about their menu!
Coco Ichiban's curry rice ranges from the level of spiciness with level 0 contain almost no spices to level 5 which have the most spices. Customers can also pair the rice with their fave meats like beef or chicken. While you are sipping into the curry rice, remember to start with a cup of cold water first. This will definitely helps you alleviate the spiciness.

There are currently 3 outlets in Singapore with their main store at 313, Orchard Road. My NS friends and I always plan a visit here at least once a year. The staff were friendly and service wise, quite good too. Maybe we went during the time where the customers are lesser? Hahas. Anyway, Coco do promotion of their menu at times like the recent Mother's day specials. So do check out the promotion before you decide on the menu.
Price wise, quite affordable. All menu starts from S$12++, this is less the service charges and GST. But pair it with the set menu which comes with drink and salad, it cost about S$15? Hmm...worth the price. However, this price still much expensive than in Japan lah. Hahas, if you are in Nagoya next time, do go try their version there.
