Sushiro Singapore

Evening peeps! It's Sunday and I am back for another short weekly update. This afternoon, I just visited the newly opened Sushiro (スシロー) in Singapore with Kahmun. Sushiro is one of the biggest sushi restaurant chains in Japan. The Singapore's outlet is also the first in Southeast Asia.

After 3 months of operations, the sushi restaurant still attracts many to be back for more. I must say Sushiro really won my heart fully. Other than their affordable and quality sushi, the service of the staffs were really friendly and good. The ambience was almost similar to their Japan outlets. That being said, during our visit, there were many Japanese whom also flocked to dine at the restaurant. Apparently, there are table and counter seats, but usually, table seats are reserved for families thus, we didn't managed to get the seat this visit.

Waiting for our turn with the Mascot. Hahas.

The waiting time to enter the restaurant during normal hours is around 10 to 15 minutes. During peak hour like lunch time or dinner time, waiting time could be as long as 30 minutes. Each dining group are given 60 minutes of time limit. However, I feel they practise the same concepts as other sushi restaurant, if there are not as many customers, they allow you to dine longer.

Ordering vide ipad also okay!

The dining setting

Unlike Genki Sushi and Sushi Express, there are no people lining up. Everyone will get a waiting number similar to dining at Din Tai Fung and you wait to be called. There is also a small waiting area at the restaurant front where you can sit around while waiting for your turn to enter the restaurant.

Before I end this post, I guess I must mention their must-try sushi and prices? Hahas. Well, I didn't get to try their Otoro (大トロ) which is one of their most expensive sushi but this is one of the must-try here. By plates, red plates $2.20, yellow plates $3.20 and black plates $4.80. Their Triple Salmon is one of their bestsellers, 3 types of salmon sushi that take you back $3.20. Other than sushi, they also offers side orders such as Ramen and Chawamushi.

This is only part 1 of our lunch. Lols.

Probably to many Singaporean, one of the must-order? Tamago-yaki Sushi

If you still unsure what to eat, check Ryuutv (one of my fave Youtubers)'s video! Hahas.

Overall, Kahmun and I were both really contented with the sushi and definitely will come back again! The next visit, I probably would give the Otoro a try! Hahas. Thanks for dropping by this time too. I will be sharing more about Japanese foods in Singapore next time. :)
