Lai Lai Casual Dining with Zhiwei

Last Saturday, I met up with Zhiwei for dinner and movie at Jurong Point. It was a relaxing and great meet-up, we dicussed about the sundown marathon earlier and also our upcoming Japan trip. He was thinking of visiting the clubs there...I was thinking about that too, but we are not firm on going yet. Then, we were planning to run another marathon sometime this year...probably, SAFRA Bay Run? Hahas. Let's wait and see bah.

Lai Lai Casual Dining @ Jurong Point

Nevertheless, we had dinner over at Lai Lai Casual Dining. I think this is my forth or fifth time visiting that restaurant. I enjoyed myself this time round too, I ordered their Cha Shu Ramen combo meal while Zhiwei had the Sliced Pork Belly Ramen combo meal. Each combo meal come with a main course which is the ramen(s), a side dish and a drink. The pricing varies for different combo. Anyway, I got myself a bowl of Cha Shu Ramen (叉烧拉面), Popcorn Salted Chicken (盐酥鸡) and a red bean freeze while Zhiwei ordered the Sliced Pork Belly Ramen (扣肉拉面), Fried Ebi (日式炸虾) and a chocolate freeze. Our bill came up to S$32.72, which I think it's quite ok since each of us pays around $16.

After dinner, we watched the most acticipated movie of the month, "Fast and Furious 6" at the cinema. I would say it was one marvelous movie. The movie was packed with awesome action and fighting scenes, some touching moments and also nice post credit scene to end off the movie. As usual, cars, girls and bangs are the best features for the film. We still love 'em, no? Hahas. In this 6th film which is the last for Justin Lin (Director) took the series to a next level from dealing with drugs dealers, illegal stuffs to big ass terrorist style villians. In this movie, Dom (Vin Diesel) and his gang will go head to head with Shaw (Luke Evans)'s team. They found Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) still alive from their previous mission whom had joined Shaw's team. From there, Dom decided to play on the game to get Letty back to the team.



Fast and Furious 6: Music Video

Guess what? Fast and Furious 7 will featured Jason Statham as the villian (Ian Shaw). So, we will be seeing more awesome actions and scenes in the upcoming sequel. You never know what is waiting and lining up in the movie series, I guess. Definitely, I will be catching the next one though it is no longer directed by Justin Lin.
