Kungfu Paradise with Family

Yesterday, it was one of rare family days for me. I decided to treat the family to dinner at Mahattan Fish Market initially, however, due to time constraint (Watching movie at 9.10 PM) and long waiting time to dine in, we changed plan and dined at Kungfu Paradise instead. I spend about S$68 for dinner (4 Pax) which I think it's quite reasonable besides, the foods were delicious and tasty.

We ordered a variety of food, I shall share the photos of the food below. Summarising, each person pay around S$17 (Inclusive of Service Charge and GST) for a main dish, drink and shared side dish. I dined at their J Cube's outlet, they also have an outlet at Bugis+ too. Anyway, this is my second time to dine here. The restaurant serves mainly Chinese cuisine (Hong Kong's dishes) and also few western and Japanese mains. Just also recently, they come out of the "All-time Breakfast" menu too due to that "Brunch" is in the trend right now. If ya' don't know, Kungfu Paradise is under the Paradise Group (One of the F&B group companies) and so, be assured of the quality of the food they serve. Hahas.

After our dinner, we caught the latest Chinese blockbuster movie, "忠烈楊家將" (Saving General Yang) at Shaw cinema. It was a nice film filled with many action scenes and some touching moments. If you have watched the drama about the Yangs' generals before, you know most of them died due to battle and thus, the rise of the women of Yangs. So, as expected, every one of generals died in the end but one of them survived and you got to head to the cinema to catch this awesome film to find out who survived then. I wouldn't expect another sequel to this movie, well...I rather the director would take the casts to the future of yangs.

Screen grab from the movie.

Movie trailer

Suggested by me, I hope that the director and producer can consider bringing the Yang warriors into the future. Maybe to the current age (the year 2010s or 2020s), where the brothers are a group of professional soldiers fighting off terrorists and no one died off in the end (plot as similarly to A-Team or The Expendables). The casts were big time actors like Wu Chun, Vic Chou, Ekin Cheng, Raymond Lam and so many others which will definitely make the suggested film a bad-ass movie like The Avengers. Hahas.

Ok bah, I hope you have enjoyed this post and do drop by soon for more updates. Ciaos.
